After much effort, there is some success

It only took two attempts to get nice photographs of all four kids together. The older two always want to 'see' the picture that was just taken on the camera, so they jump right up after every click. The almost two year old just doesn't want to sit at all and the one month old is.....well, just one month old. Every mom that has tried to get just the perfect shot can well imagine how we all felt afterwards.

These four children are such a blessing. After reflecting on the discouraging days of not being able to conceive and seeing these fabulous four that the Lord has given to us, I am amazed. Our God is much bigger than me and my dreams. I hope to honor Him more each day as we raise this foursome.

The Sixth Made Her Appearance

The sixth Lino made her appearance on June 5, 2009! Chloe Reese Lino is three weeks old today and I am finally getting some pictures up for all the world to see.

Three Amigos

Colton, Mitchell and Mia have been friends since birth. They have the best time together as Mia can really hold her own with the boys. She does not let them get away with anything. They have been in school together this year as well as completing their Cubbies years together. Colton has been very blessed to have these sweet friends.

The things they say....

I wish I had a tape recorder to carry around with me all day. If only I could capture a few of the things my kids say. Sweet Campbell just the other day..."Mommy, you are the best at everything in the world." If only she knew the truth. Does she have to grow up and know the truth? There are so many things I wish I was the best at.....just so her image of me is not shattered one day. Until the day she really, really gets how bad I am and how sinful we all are, I will pray that I know how to best communicate to her how broken we all are. I will try to be better at the things that really matter. How I love that girl. Such good memories I will have of these times.

Growing Up

It is inevitable.......they will grow up. We are fast approaching 'preschool graduation' with Colton. He is so excited! I am really not sure what he thinks it actually is, but I feel certain we will have a lot of fun. The actual 'ceremony' is still a few weeks away, but the pictures are being taken and the program practiced. We have had such a good experience with the ECC program he is in and he has made some sweet friends. While he will surely miss some of his friends that will move on to other schools, we are looking forward to BIG school and kindergarten in the fall. He is getting to be a little man. I am so proud of him!
